Focal Point Project

1. My overall thoughts are that this project was time consuming, frustrating, and required way too much creative effort on my part.

2. I feel this piece was successful because I worked hard on trying to think of creative and interesting ways of incorporating the 5 objects.

3. What worked was the creative aspect of this project, what didn’t work was how frustrating and how hard it was to try to come up with different ways of putting the 5 objects together to make a focal point

4. If I were to do this project over again I would spend a little less time trying to make every picture completely different, and more time on trying to make one object the focal point

5. the most difficult part about completing this project was making one object the focal point in each picture. It was frustrating making each object stand from the others.

6. I learned that this project got very annoying very fast.

Face Animation Project

1. This project was time consuming and frustrating. I had some difficulties making the mouths fit perfectly so that it looked like I actually was singing. A couple of times flash crashed on me causing me to lose hours of work, which sucked! Overall though I enjoyed the outcome of the final piece and I enjoyed doing it.

2. I feel that the piece I made was very successful. I spent a lot of time and effort to make it the best I could. I think that this project is a great one to do as long as you are patient and keep in mind that by the end of it you’re not going to want to listen to the song you picked ever again.

3. I enjoyed figuring out what mouths went with what sounds and seeing the final outcome of the project. I didn't enjoy taking the pictures because you have to have someone place the mouths on you while you stay completely still. It took way too long to take all the pictures and fix all the mistakes in Photoshop.

4. If I were to do this project over again I would make sure all my pictures looked exactly the same and none of my mouths were crocked. I would also make sure a certain somebody’s gym bag wasn’t in the background of eight pictures.

5. The most difficult part about completing this piece was trying to concentrate when other people’s songs were playing because they decided to not bring head phones.

6. I learned that if I listen to a song for more than a couple weeks I’ll get sick of it.
